When most people think of a "weather market" they think of commodities such as livestock and grains. Of course for you to think of such things you most likely have an agricultural background. When I was on the farm, we would take our hogs to market during a blizzard because no one else was and the prize was up. A "Weather Market".
The same holds true for the automotive business. But in a different way. As things become worn on your vehicle, they hold together quite well as long as the weather stays fairly constant. But when when a storm comes in and the weather changes, it seems to aggravate the worn stuff and all of a sudden your vehicle is not running the way it should, or you have an antifreeze leak, or even a belt breaks.
Believe it or not, that is the "weather market" for the automotive repair industry. I guess you could say, "When it rains, it pours" repairs?
